It looks like the proposed amendment would need to be submitted to city council before March 23. 

Today is Feb 12 and I will officially manage my property on March 1.

The newly elected City Council held a preliminary vote in March 2020 to change and modify these rules to be more in favor of STRs, and decided at that meeting to review the rules at a later date.

Keep in mind, CT evictions and foreclosures have been in moratorium since March so there is limited inventory now.

This past March (18 months after purchase), we refinanced with an appraised value of $395k and got rid of our pmi and dropped to a 3.125% loan.

We had to lock the last of these loans last Monday and they have to be delivered/purchased by March 1.Home Possible still exists, but for a 2-unit you will now have to put down 15%, which is unfortunate as the 5% down was great for house-hacking.
