There are some deadbeat baby mamas that have a 0 portion and they are mad over ability to move into my house because their voucher does not pay enough.  

While you look around and come up with ideas that fit you, more actively be sure to think about smaller baby success steps.

You can make minor adjustments based on the type of appliances (dishwasher, clothes washer and dryer, air conditioning, etc.) and the size of the rental.

We have a friend (who just sold their restored farmhouse on 30 acres) who had to dig out & install a retaining (fiber-cloth covered) trench for $4500 that has absolutely no function except it's NOW code for all septics systems.The sale triggered the town insisting on the upgrade.

I've also got one in CA, and just as everyone talks about strict regulations, our community went to a "no NEW STRs" rule as of 1/1/2022. ... we closed in November 2021....grandfathered in baby!

Have a personal budget that includes your meals and some new boots and some new clothes, haircuts,  and things like that every once in a while. 

Our customers can wash AND dry their clothes in under an hour or less than the competition; they can lounge in the recliners or work on their laptop with our wifi; their children can play with toys instead of ask when they get to leave every 3 minutes.
