Per the seller, the property is a fixer upper, no central air or heat only window unit.

I'm currently employed as a welder at a local shipyard, and I also serve in the Air Force Reserve.I have always wanted to pursue a career in real estate, but honestly I was scared of the risk.

We installed central air and the bonus room, but never did any flooring (didn't need to).  

Just realized our garage could be a perfect 420 sq ft apartment that would rent for $800-1000 or we could get Air Bnb tenants all summer in there, either way would bring in about $10,000 per year.

I'm looking to purchase a couple 3/2 homes next year for air-b-n-b rentals.

The reason why is maybe it from the 1900's and they did a complete cosmetic overhaul and it looks amazing, but what about the pluming, wiring, foundation, roof, supports, heating and air conditioning, and other things that don't have anything to do with the way it looks but might have a little to do with your bottom line.

Built in the late 1800's, 4 off street parking places, 2004 updated wiring, new gas lines, hvac, gutters, 5 furnaces, 3 central air units (2 more of unknown age) 80 gallon water tank from 2007. roof is ~13 years old.  

I have used Air bnb and it has been effective, but obviously need more resources to drive demand the property.

Local codes may require an air gap fitting above your countertop.
