@Jhanel Wilson I created a listing on gosection8 but they still need to verify the address before they post it... and if they do it would actually be the first listing on gosection8 in my area lol.

Being a out of country investor hope you did your due diligence and had someone on the ground there to verify what you are trying to buy.

I wanted to verify for tax purposes, would both our names would need to be on the loan?  

You also need to verify current and previous land lord references and verify employment. 

How did you verify these #'s?  

Verify the offer is legit for sure.

I would trust but verify every single person I meet, and every single statement they make.  

At most, the lender may want you to verify you are moving hit work, as opposed to you having used the loan knowing you were just going to flip. 

There are a number of unscrupulous sellers out there, so make sure you verify you are not buying bad paper.
