What are your reasons for multiple partners?

We do this all day so it is clear to us, but I have multiple people ask this exact questions. 

I would like to sell it and purchase multiple properties in a better cash flowing market. 

However, with this strategy, you require your credit to be pulled multiple times to refinance the loan (and for me, I finance my first purchase as well). 

Hopefully I can snag a multiple family fixer upper  under 1M.
