Depends what you are looking for - some books are motivational, some books are business books and some are real estate investing books. 

It should all be gathered by an escrow or title company and documents, money, etc correctly sorted out and finalized (closed).

I do this everyday for motivated  real estate investors. 

I am looking at this as more of an inspirational/motivational weekend with some opportunities to network.

If they are, they will be much more likely to know who the most likely buyers are, which re-trade on a regular basis, which have performed in the past, and which are in exchanges or are otherwise highly motivated.

You have to sign an addendum of sorts because normally that has to be transferred with the property .

Try it out, if someone is motivated enough and you have their solution, all they will care about is their situation.

I have been preoccupied and extremely motivated with my First duplex live in flip or BRRRR, not sure yet.

If all she is willing to do is authorize you on the account, she is not motivated at all and you are wasting your time.
