The liability of such a credible cause of action for libel, (among other such exposures I will not disclose here) increase exponentially as the database gets a greater installation base of users.

You should absolutely calculate your tax exposure into the cost of the property when analyzing the purchase and consider that a financing cost.

The crux of the benefit the wholesaler brings to a seller is (1) exposure to a market different then the retail (owner occupant, retail investors) market on MLS or FSBO and (2) a potentially faster close to buyers who do not need to qualify for financing.
