I like the look of the engineered wood flooring such as Luxury vinyl plank flooring and the snap together laminate flooring but im not sure which would hold up better for ;The KitchenBathroomBedroomsLiving RoomLaundry Room..Also, the 2 bedroom unit being on the second floor, would it be better to carpet more to help be a noise barrier from disturbing the tenants on the first floor?

If you find a broker that is interested in you doing this, they are most likely shady and you will eventually get burned by them.If on the other hand you find a great deal, buy it and resell it or add value (reno, find a renter), then you are on to something.
