Apparently there is an arrogance associated with being one of the wealthiest counties in the country, and they really don't need your tax dollars nor do they have any interest in development (Keep Williamson Rural!).

I don't know what i'm doing yet, but i'm here to learn and hopefully make some good friends and possibly some business associates along the way! 

If the property is located in an association you may consider including yard maint. in the rent.

My family has a condo in a community that has two associations, one for the overall community and one for the condo subdivision we live in.

Currently there is bur-bur in place, and when looking into purchasing a new rug an associate mentioned that another carpet -StainMaster- would be better.

My questions are:-Are there other costs associated that I need to know about?

Bob, rentals in Vero are very good however the condo fees in Salem (your association) are so high that it can be difficult to make a good profit.

If we refi'd to 30 years our cash flow would be marginally i the black once you take into account property taxes and the association fees.
