I'd love to hear your thoughts on what types of investment vehicles (aside from stocks) you would put money.

Do they communicate well, do their vehicles leak oil or are messy, do they enjoy talking to people, do they smell like cigarettes? 

In phoenix, we have invested in SFH and have done well but as the market heats up we feel it may be the time to cash in and invest in a safer vehicle.  

Funneling maximal money into tax-deferred vehicles seems "optimal" on many forums, but when you can earn greater than 30% on these dollars the strings attached outweigh the benefit9.  

They think they are big time business owners who can skip hiring general contractors and end up hiring handymen or day laborers from craigslist who call themselves general contractors.They are almost always going to offer a cheaper rate then an actual contracting company with an administrative staff, marketing budget, licensing, fleet of vehicles etc.....Thing is it's not actually a 100% certainty that they will do (or properly do) the job you've hired them to do. 

Your vehicle is not an asset, neither is your primary house.

I guess I see Renatus as a vehicle for me to learn in and grow from while I do deals.  

,I totally agree, everyone needs a place to live and that's why our investment vehicle stands the test of time when done smartly. 

The tenant with the car wants the light off because she feels it will attract unwanted people and make it easy for them to look inside her vehicle.
