Would it be better to look further away from the main tourist areas to find cheaper rents while still being a reasonable distance away from Universal City, Hollywood, the beaches etc or stay within a 3 or so mile radius and be more competitive?

It's not to say you can't do either, but cash flow can't be the main driver.

If you have too many AMPS- you will trip a circuit breaker, the main breaker or you could heat up the wires to the point the cause a fire. 

Around druid hill, 3 units back of the building,ground level, and the rest is on the main level.If it is the same building, ( if not disregard) I think you will spend well over 110K.
