If you get 2 cards with $10,000 limits at 0% you'll be able to pay them down fairly quickly with the rent.  

If you want to retire with RE, you might not pay any taxes if you structure your deals correctly and plan correctly to qualify for RE professional( RE pro dont have a limitation of passive loss ) . 

@Anthony FontanaYou could look into creating a limited partnership (or an LLC that is organized like a limited partnership).

@Aarti Bambha there are several Personal Unbrellas with a limit of 25 locations, 100 units.  

However, there is a limit to my success in this small town, and the solo practice of law (and parents with multiple rental properties) has taught me to diversify.

Whenever I need a contractor, I just do a search in the group--of course, I still verify with the person that recommended them and my own vetting process which includes a CCAP/License (if applicable to job) and insurance check.
