I’ve had this itch to get into real estate for a long time, but everytime I start to dip my toes in I get the feeling that with prices/rates where there at it’s hard to justify pulling money from risk free 5.5% ?

I believe this is very important since if a guest can afford a 5-bedroom pool home in the same neighborhood as your 3-bedroom home with a pool, most likely, the 5-bedroom home will book first.This is why I am reaching out for advice.

No reason to feel sorry for us u less you feel the STR quota was unfair.

A virtual assistant could easily help with the day to day listing management, guest communication, and other virtual tasks.

In our area it is slim pickings but we have seen a few gems come and go in the last few weeks and feel like we can find the right property if we can get financing. 

We're aiming for something designed and higher end, in part because we'd live in it for the duration of the remodel + houselift of the main house, and feel good looking at it from our house.
