LOL... but I think that is one of the great markets in the country.. now granted its gotten much more competitive since I started 18 months ago...

It doesn't matter where you go in this great country, if you turn on the news, it's the same as here in Memphis. 

Also, NYC is *extremely* pro-tenant when it comes to housing court.  

I won the court battle and became a full time father (which in and of itself is a major undertaking) I then started a consultation business and helped over 2 dozen businesses flip their margins.

@James Marie Please consider going to where the property is the greatest bang for the buck.Real Estate Pros send out direct mail to look for acquisitions all over the country with great results.Let me know if I can help... 

Also a good attorney--at his expense-- and if you go to court, another fee.

The current owner says he went through chapter 13 bankruptcy years ago and was surprised to hear it was still in his name at the court house. 

You can go to the local court house and hang out in eviction court and hand out card to tired landlords, devorce court..
