You know that sub market better than anywhere else in the country, and there are benefits to being in close proximity to your property.With that being said though, I haven't read anything good about the San Francisco sub market in a while.

Is it possible to buy a property outside the country using an LLC from the USA?

I'm from SoCal (Riverside, CA) and believe that there is money to be made in many markets across the country.

@Suvir Salins    exercise caution just become these homes are the price of stamp duty in your country does not make them good investments.I used to post of the property investors forum in your country.. and I met the Dingo there 6 years ago. he has done a nice job ... be very very careful..

I've seen many foreigners making investments that don't make sense because they don't understand how the local market works, which is oftentimes very different than how it works in their home country.

I can't speak too much on new multifamily construction however the NAR reported in August that the Ogden-Clearfield area was the number 10 gaining metropolitan area in appreciation in the country in 2022 Q2 at 25.5 percent.This is partially why I have a lot of faith in the market.

If you are on the other side of the country, placing tenants is going to be a challenge along with checking on the property.

Make sure you work with someone who really deeply considers your personal needs, alongside the broader economic conditions of the country, AND the local laws.
