You can always black out account numbers etc.If you do not want to show to them get pre-qualified through their mortgage broker of choice they have a history with.

Your choice here is Government backed coverage with warranty, Contractor's bond (ie CA has them), Commercial General Liability (less likely), and lastly Plumbing company in-house warranty, in that particular order.

Purchasing a personal home is a life style choice not a investment.

Your getting scammed and most likely they are simply moving to some other place of their choice. 

I am not saying one approach is right and one is wrong just that the correct choice is an individual choice based on their life style, time commitments, etc.

Excel can open both but it takes a few stepsIf you open it in Notepad (or an equivalent text-editor, not MS Word) can you see the data or is it a jumble of symbols and nonsense? 

@Jason Murray, I think the biggest advantage of "Touching" your property is that you make choices on what needs to be done to rectify a problem differently as the owner than a team member would.

Plus, mom is doing much better, so we'll be able to offer these options to her and allow her to make the best choice. 

No real impact on your expenses and not a lot of hassle moving forward either. 90 dollars for 200 sq. ft of storage seems like a lot to me; but if you can keep it rented at that rate that would be the choice.
