@Emilie PaThe answer may be a bit more involved than you're aware, depending on if your language of the company "selling" to you is correct, or whether the company is dissolving and distributing its assets to the shareholder. 

My family and I have been renters our entire lives, so I'm excited and grateful to be the first in my family to embark on the path of home ownership.

I’d love to assume a happy path scenario, but I know I need to do my due diligence and not just go off of one or two people’s feedback. 

Once my zoning variance was granted, I expected getting the building permit would be straightforward.
