We have other HAs who give the single voucher holder her/his own bedroom plus separate the sexes of the other household members.   

No violent or sex offenders, but exceptions can be made based on the situation.

A quick Google search turned up a felony and he was on the sex offender registry.

I've been on this board for 12+ years and I have never heard of an investor losing their investment because of a lawsuit, except for the rare occasion where a Landlord is egregiously bad (e.g. forcing tenants to have sex instead of paying rent). 

In my area I have to provide notice about lead pain, bed bugs, mold, rent control, sex offenders...Your state (maybe city) probably has some sort of apartment owners association.

Year after year, study after study showed that (IIRC) 93+% of them would not even accept FREE housing unless they could keep their drugs/alcohol/up all night/free sex lifestyles.I have no answer for them either, but the answer for lower income folks who want a basic roof over their heads is much easier.

You may see it in the news, but it's always a slumlord, or someone forcing tenants to have sex, or some other egregious violation of human morality.

Must tell guests to report themselves to the county if they are on the sex offender list.
