In fact, they should be reported to the authorities for what I consider criminal behavior and at minimum for bait and switch practices and failure to properly disclose.

The property tax cannot increase more than his even if the property value increases 5 times (I have properties that have increased 500% that have property tax based on values that are less than 1/3 of their current value).As for a jurisdiction mandating converting a JADU back to SFR upon owner move out I believe this is outside the jurisdiction’s authority.

I've also come across an article authored by a renowned attorney in Illinois Condominium Law (https://www.cai-illinois.org/liability-condo-associations-damages-caused-failure-common-elements/) which states that since the association neglected to address the masonry issue, which is a common element, they bear responsibility for damages to the limited common element and the interior as well.
