After four years of living over the road as a trucker and pinching pennies, I feel like I've been living like no one else. 

I can't speak for anyone else, but I know what my time is worth and if it takes me 1-2 hours to get all the docs together, write the offer, get it signed, get proof of funds, track down deeds, liens, signatures and it doesn't get accepted, then I have just wasted valuable time that I could have used helping a first time home buyer, or a seller who's in a pinch, or getting a listing presentation together for an ocean front house. 

I’m considering applying for a long term permit as well and in a pinch rent it for month of December!

Corporate that pays less than a full airbnb but they are there from 30-180 days.Focus on your area - Hospitals, univerisity, near downtown centers, vacation etcFix up really nice - not cheap lizard brain landlord and pinches on crappy quality.

When you own, at least you can convert to LTR in a pinch.

Hi All,Is it just me or everyone is feeling the pinch of increase of property taxes for investment homes in Texas?

Now I am positive cashflowing $2600/mo which will be bumped up to $2900/mo in 18 months once a personal loan is paid off that I had to take out when I started pinching pennies to finish the last unit. 

I think I need to stop penny pinching and look at the big picture.
