The best way to approach these connections is google research, connect with people on Facebook groups and other forums, know people, have an airbnb listing, or hire an MTR manager that already has the connections...is pretty much all you can do.Would love to connect more with you, and plug you into our military network to help you out!

I am new to the group, real estate investing in general, and trying to learn so that I can take my first step into real estate.

You can also check out groups like the National Alliance for Recovery Residences (NARR), which might have some leads for you.Another option is to talk to property managers who specialize in group homes or sober living.

Have you looked into leveraging local REIA groups?

You can also check meetup.com or search Facebook for real estate investment groups, clubs, or meetings in your area.

Have some real estate under my belt but looking into Short term rentals opposed to long term rentals.Wondering if there is a stand out book to read to gain understanding for Australian Short Term rental market/AIRBNB.Also if there is a specific group for Australians and short term rentals for Australian market/Australian tax system etc, do point me to that.Rod
