I work in the Automotive sector for a leading premium German car manufacturer and am fortunate that I can also say that it's also my hobby.

I am fortunate that she is just as passionate about investing as I am and we've begun conducting a long term investment strategy that will begin post marriage.

I will graduate in December and I've got capital saved up from being very fortunate and not having to pay for school because of my football scholarship.

A couple of months ago I was fortunate enough to come across a meet up hosted by @Katie Pratt and @Merced F. where I learned about this amazing community.

Since we were new we made some mistakes, but fortunately the interest rates dropped and we were able to lower our payments and then we didn't realize how much rent we could actually get here in San Diego.

I have a fortunate career but am trying to 10x so to speak so as not to just sell my time to corporate America and also be behilden to the whims of the stock market. 

Fortunately for me, the seller issued a letter to each tenant at closing stating what their rent was, how much was set aside as a security deposit, etc. 

As a native to Metro-Detroit, manager of over 2,000 homes and guy that has bought hundreds of homes I can tell you from experience that fortunes have been made and lost here.  

I know many are not that fortunate.  

I have renovated all units making them tenant proof and fortunately have had zero repair costs (knock on wood!).
