For syndicates with loan maturities after 2030, they even have a shot at making a positive return, and perhaps even a decent one considering what they've endured to get there.Kicking the can down the road:  Owners and syndicators hoping they can kick the can down the road by negotiating loan maturity extensions are likely to be disappointed. 

Find as many investor meetups as you can as the knowledge others have are invaluable when you're first starting out. 

In fact we are working towards a 5 year extension on the existing lease.

It’s a huge move, and you’re already starting off strong by asking questions and soaking in as much knowledge as possible.

I feel like I have all the knowledge, but I have still not found that first deal!

Please note I am not speaking about Grant Cardone from any first hand knowledge.  

I know there’s a lot to learn, and I’m eager to absorb as much knowledge as possible.I’d love to connect with others in the Lehi/Utah County area (or beyond!)

However, forgive my curiosity - I'm really just trying to soak up as much knowledge as possible.

It could be some sort of skill set for renovations, design for furnished rentals, specific market knowledge, owner occupied loan products for a house hack, etc. 

In the meantime, focus on building your credit, saving for a down payment, and soaking up as much knowledge as you can.
