I just finished the BP book by Avery Carl and am hoping to borrow from ourselves to fund our first vacation rental. 

I'm currently reading David Greene's "BRRRR" book and I will be utilizing my VA Loan as a first home purchase (duplex) for my first home utilizing the VA Loan.

See if your state has something like that on the books.

BRRRR is not a great strategy in the current market due to the mortgage rates so it's not as applicable as many think from reading older posts or books about how easy it is.

What I love about Baselane is that it was built BY real estate investors FOR real estate investors so it's really dialed in to what you're going to need in order to prepare your taxes, keep your books up to date and the more operational aspects of being an REI like tenant vetting and processing rent payments.

The tourism authority has had some good information in the past about how many visitors come to each island and, of those visitors, how many book STRs.
