Yes a stay in a potato is interesting but if there isn't much else to do around there, it will be a bit of a loser.Remote isn't always bad.

While I didn't want to stay there permanently, it was a stepping stone to build my track record.

You GOTTA use WIDE-angel photos. many phones have great features for this now, or there is app's for it, or lenses, lens adapters. get something, anything, or buy a new phone that does it.

Check Furnished Finder, Zillow, as well as AirBnb and VRBO (30+ day stays) to see what sort of competition is in that specific market.
