Hello all, I just recently closed on a duplex in MINNEAPOLIS and the previous landlord was to complete some work before close. 

Also if you property is in Minneapolis I hope you are aware of a recent law preventing you from discriminating on the basis of income, i.e you have to accept section 8 (search here for discussions ... ) good luck.

One approach that is often taken in the Minneapolis market is for the seller to have an inspection done, address any real issues that come up, and then put the property on the market with the pre-listing inspection available to potential buyers.

The foundation of our fourplex has the eroding limestone and mortar issues, and it's time for us to re-enforce the existing basement walls and stop the deterioration.  Anyone knows of a concrete company doing this typ...

I have researched different aspects of particular zip codes such as what percentage of residents are renters in the neighborhood, how much is the average rent in a particular zip code (rent-o-meter and City of Minneapolis website), the price of homes that sold in April (Zillow) and interest rates. 

This was bank owned in a prime spot of NE Minneapolis.
