If you were able to get an uneven multi, with a 1-bed unit and a 3-bed unit, you could live in the 1-bed and still rent rooms in the other and be a bit detached from them.

Hey guys,I'm going to be living stateside after being active duty overseas the past four years with an itch to get into real estate.Will be in Lawton, Oklahoma for five months (very slim possibility for ~3 years).

I live in the Midwest, KCMO to be exact, and am looking to network with other RE agents and investors. 

I also live at home with my parents when on my off days.My issue lies here.

I spent last summer in Charlotte and loved it, looking forward to living there. 

I moved to Charleston last year and I’ve been living in a house that I own.

I live in the Washington DC area and it seems difficult to find cash flowing properties here.
