I did start a Facebook group that I'm hoping attendees will join to continue interacting outside the event.

Interesting to hear this @Russell Brazil-  I thought long and hard about going independent before leaving Long and Foster after 16 years and realized that the costs and hassles of going independent (not to mention recruiting and managing Agents and the liability that goes with that) were just not something I wanted to take on.

The first thing I did was interview as many PM's (through referrals) as I could and narrowed down to the top 3-4 that I felt comfortable with after my first interaction with them. 

If you are not happy with your interactions with the PM, replace them.
