You know what i've found to help "distract" from custom fonts and helps them look more hand written...putting some sort of decorative stamp or sticker in the lower left corner.  

Otherwise, those that you've encountered will take note of your lack of knowledge than what and how you can help them.

I haven't encountered anything like that in Houston.  

But we would sit around with a few drinks on a friday and talk about who had the worst encounter with a "gate keeper" or the harshest rejection of the week (i've had people tell me to kill myself). 

The sticker price seems steep, but I am sure your friend has done his homework.

I am not familiar with this perspective and would like to know if anyone has encountered this before.
