App connected lights, locks, garage door, multiple cameras, smoke and fire sensors, etc.

I only want to invest in places I believe in and that place is dark.

Hence, from my mother's father, I surmise that slavery is a dark & evil thing, with lasting effects on descendants of who were enslaved.

Even though she agreed to do the work, she fought every step of the way and I had to guilt trip her at times to do basic work - like installing working smoke detectors.  

He smoked a lot of cigarettes and at first was somewhat standoffish but once he realized the crew was cool he was super friendly to everybody. 

After a week of promising to pay and apologizing for his sons actions, he has gone completely dark as well. 

There are several smoking guns that clearly show him personally lying to investors.

Aside from the obvious (criminal record, evictions, poor credit) I tend to notice most red flags when looking at their social media:-If it's a couple and they've been in a relationship for a short amount of time (I've had 'couples' inquire who got in a relationship that very week)-Posts or photos showing they smoke marijuana.

The same sentiment was 5x worse from people who did not live or invest in the Bay Area but felt they were somehow “uniquely qualified” to opine on the Bay Area market especially how it was a horrible place to live and had a dark future ahead.
