It is akin to suggesting the seat belt law is the only regulation involved in driving.The rules we should be discussing are Regulation X (RESPA) and Regulation Z (TILA).  

I've read a lot of redevelopment news (Mercedes Benz Stadium, Turner Field/GA State redevelopment plan, SW belt line expansion, etc.) for the southern and southwestern areas of the city.I'm interested in both single family and small multifamily homes that I will buy and hold as rentals.

If you were lending your personal money, would you feel comfy doing so on the assumption that this agent with one sale under his belt will consistently make at least $100k/yr?

Hey BP,I am looking to get my first deal under my belt but before I close on it do anyone know of any real estate attorney that have good knowledge about creative real estate investing and any good title companies that does the same in the NYC area? 

At the age of 50+ and many years of Real Estate under my belt(never as an investor).

I consider rents to be low for the area and could be possibly raised to $1000 (after current tenants/over next 2-3 years).Now I have considerable student loan debt (>$60k) but enjoy less debt-laden company, therefore I'm considering doing this deal with a friend of mine (possibly 2) to make it work and get this first piece under my belt.
