If you are taking money from a C corp, generally there are better ways from a tax perspective then doing that directly to buy real estate.

Like @John Underwood said, WY has some good benefits but TX seems to be one of the best for series LLC's.

The correct way to measure the overall performance of the investment would be through a Cumulative Return or Compounded Annual Growth Rate (CAGR).
