I lived in the Kennesaw/Acworth are for 4 years while I was in college there and although it is a nice area to live in, it is a pretty good haul to Atlanta and seems to be a little investor unfriendly (atleast from the small amount of research I have done) .As far as my investing goals go the first thing I want to do is to buy a personal residence that I could eventually turn into a buy and hold property when I am ready to move on.

Buying in the Burbs of Philadelphia you need to keep some factors in mind;* Follow the Trains coming into Philadelphia* Evaluate the taxes in the towns and major train stops* Will have less turn over with 2 Bedroom than 1 Bedroom mixes* School Systems will be important* Near a college or university* Does the real estate agent own investment properties themselves and willing to show them to you and see how they operate.

I listened to a man the other night on a webinar and he talked about living in Canada and the market in the USA was so much better and within 2 years he was making money.The reason he was in Canada was that his son was going to college there.
