I'm 23 years old and plan to use real estate for my retirement, but that's in the distant future.My question is whether it's better to pay off the mortgage as quickly as possible or to buy a rental property as soon as possible.My thoughts are that if I pay off my home, I'll have security and more money each month to invest, as I won't have to make mortgage or rent payments.

Finding private money lenders out side of that takes time as you need to build your relationship with them so that they know, like and trust you AND they know you have experience in real estate.

My Landscape company is an S Corp so I am familiar with that business structure, but I just don't know the best way to structure a real estate company.

Real Estate is not an emotional business but rather a numbers game.

One place I am not interested in going in July is FL.

First protection (the one you need to cover you in court) is no sublease in the contract: in FL, it's the standard option.
