@terry Nguyen I would recommend you invest in a fix and flip like what Terry is recommending or Joint Venture with someone that can go on the title and go for appreciation or the Brrrr method where you get your money back and can invest again, while building long term wealth.Good luck!

Also, after what happened to you, nobody will blame you for deciding to stay at home when it comes to real estate investing.Finally, there are no guarantees in life and, in spite of all the research I do, the precautions I take and the control I exert, the possibility always exist that I could be screwed over, like in any venture.

he paid just under one million cash for his ranch I sold him in 91.. and I would venture to guess his portfolio back then was worth 30 to 40k million all free and clear and today probably north of 150 million.. so yes I think that's an accurate statement.. plenty of guys like this in the bay area though.. they just don't hang on BP LOL

The way you invest in Huntsville (ie DIY using a BRRR method or flipping, or using a turnkey company to keep it as passive as possible) will depend on your goals, your time, and your interest (because we're all better at things we enjoy, so if going the DIY route doesn't sound like FUN even though its hard work, then consider whether you'll actually stick it out).
