good question @Barshay Graves  ... i was a plumber many years ago and replaced a lot of galv. back then copper was the best option... these days pex pipe for water pipe is so easy to install plumbers are installing for less and makes a huge job of repipe not as much of a challenge. get your prices for waste and water replacement (pvc or abs pipe for waste)  (pex for water)  and shop around a bit.

You want to find someone who will just "tell you what you've got" in that you want to know what the problem is and how to fix it VS what it will cost to have a new one installed.

My biggest problem with DIY carpet clean is that unless you buy an expensive cleaner, you're doing little more than a regular vacuum does.

Two people can carry a 1000 square foot roll, so it's a good DIY material for small roofs, but I would recommend hiring an experienced contractor for jobs big enough to require seams.
