Ensure your listing really speaks to your ideal guest - not showing real estate and things, but highlighting key experiences to be had while staying at your place.

I, and likely most people on here, would recommend finding a mentor in your area that has sor hands on experience with REI or property management.

A little bit about my experience in Real Estate… I started a couple years ago doing some house flips in Detroit ( It was a 2 year plan) then decided to sell everything, moved to Washington DC which can't afford anything in the DMV area but last year I purchased a very nice 3500 SQFT Duplex in Shaker Heights, suburb of Cleveland.

As I have been reading a lot of terrible experiences and stories about landlords getting burned due to tenants simply taking their softness for granted and especially taking advantage of a lot of elderly homeowners to live in the places for free and in some cases even filing lawsuits against landlords to simply make money out of them.

This experience highlighted the importance of speed, market insight, and strong partnerships in achieving successful real estate investments with Partner Driven.

So leave the sensitive stuff for later (if ever—it’s not customary to provide that stuff in equity transactions and your debt folks are going to want current stuff or to run it themselves).Since you have experience, flaunt it.
