I got rejected on a HELOC by a credit union because they will see the $2409 in expenses on my credit report, but they won't look at a lease agreement, but will only take income from my tax returns which 2015 tax returns aren't out yet and 2014 tax returns won't show a home purchased in 2015.

You would be the only one that would see the results, not the county appraiser's office.....no relationship to an appraiser you would hire.If you just bought the home, I doubt seriously if a bank would approve a HELOC right away.Hope this helps a bit!

Some/many banks also want to see the source of your downpayment funds....some even want to see that you've had the funds for X amount of months.
