As long as they are doing a good job on the paint, you can eventually "train" your contractor to how you like things done.If you're getting a good deal, I'd stick with the same guys, and just make sure you do a walk-through with them before they're "done."

You'll have to muddle through.There are companies out there you could pay to train you to do it, but it's usually for a fee.The biggest thing I would offer if you do hire a negotiator is TRUST.
