I've got a good handle on the entire surrounding area from living here, and I'm always willing to help when I can. 

We handle everything from project scope, estimates, contracts, progress reporting and documentation utilizing our back office platform.

I do wonder if they're able to do anything beyond what a savvy person with an internet connection can handle on their own, however.

The IRA is treated the same way as your current IRA for tax purposes, but you will have the ability to invest in assets such as real estate that are not handled by the mainstream brokerages.There are two types of self-directed IRA plans, and a lot of good info here on BP on the topic.IRA Custodians hold accounts and do the processing, but just have a different business model that supports documenting the IRA's investments into things like real property, notes, etc.  

I do primarily residential, but I will handle smaller commercial deals if the building in question is a residential building.

Thanks @Jim Keller, but I was wasn't targeting bankruptcy, I just don't know how to handle a seller that is about to file bankruptcy or has already filed bankruptcy.
