I'm not aware of any KC accountants on BP, but there are many on BP that work with investors cross-country.

( although again your smokin deal on the second loan is probably the cheapest).

In other words, hey buyer... do your research but also cross your fingers.

Keep in mind though that if you're green at this they might just refer you back to another middle man as homeowners can often be laborious. 

I would explore options to get involved locally (partnerships, etc.) before crossing it off your list completely.  

Lose money Year 1 (rehab costs), break even Year 2, make money (fingers crossed) in Year 3.

New Jersey also requires anything 3 units or more to have a multiple dwelling certificate, aka "Green Card"
