My closing costs were:Origination - $1227Appraisal - $495Credit Report - $20Title services and title insurance - $750Tax Service Fee - $75Consultant Fee - $430 (loan was a purchase + rehab loan, this is the fee for company that services the rehab draws).Government Recording Charges - $143Total = $3140Without consultant fee = $2710.I would say that you are getting overcharged.

Have a lawyer draw up the ownership documentation for the business including the succession plan if people expire.When you purchase the home, the Title of the home would be put in the business name.
