The next buyer will review your corrective actions showing before and after fotos with bills signed by bother parties will appreciate your willingness to make the home safer, better and will opt to purchase.

Just be cautious taking on a lot of debt/maintenance as a new investor.However, buying a primary home provides stability and potential appreciation too.
