I'm just getting into Real Estate Investing, and want to get a proper background on the terminology, the lingo, and just get a feel for everything so I can choose my path.I was thinking about buying books, online courses, in person courses, and of course these Podcasts.Just wanted your opinion, what would be the most structured way of getting a Real Estate education.

Best way to tell about an area is visit it, you can also talk to local realtors and ask them about how the rental market is there. you may be able to research it online and even find out what the average rent is for the area. 

I took mine online, but I don't really like sitting in classes.

They do not offer this online - only rent to own.You can hold open houses over the weekends yourself.

If you are still overseas but know where you are going, you may doing licensing to become a Realtor online in your new location...not that it is the only way to have a career in real estate. 

Borrow ideas from online examples.

Really great thing about taking the RE exam in NYS is that you can take it online - I loved this feature.

His take is that these type of tenants won't understand and sign a lease that has too many occupancy expectations, and they won't apply for apartments, and pay rent on line. 

All the other online training seminars/gurus that I've looked at failed to mention that wholesaling in Ohio without a realtors license is illegal if done the way they are  instructing.
