Keep saving back money keep a strong disciplined work ethic with a burning desire and No question ..finish that schooling .

It takes a little time to contact them, find out if they want to stay, provide written notice of the rent increase, produce the document and then actually stay on them to get it signed.   

Then I ask things like why are you leaving your current apartment, how much were you paying, how long are you looking to stay, if they have any pets, do they smoke.

The details are mostly different (and this is what most people focus on) but the general theory of what drives them stays the same.

Ask what their plans are - do they want to stay or go.

I really love the idea of rentals but man it's hard to stay motivated with all the negativity around you not only from people you know but even some professionals in certain businesses.

You are saying if people disagree, they will attack you but if they support you, they will stay silent and leave you to the wolves?
