Today, the “flood house” is the best cashflowing property in my portfolio (the cashflow potential is a major reason I put in so much effort to fixing the problem).Every time I hear someone mention REI as a “passive” form of investing, I smile and think back to when I was knee-deep in mud, excavating truckloads of clay by hand, one bucket at a time through a basement window.
