IF it REALLY had been dangerous to use, he would NOT have turned it on.I really do think gas guys must have boring jobs and realize many people are scared of gas (thinking either it's going to explode or kill them with fumes) so they sometimes try to scare us with these stories.If you remain concerned, buy a carbon monoxide detector for the place.Gail
