Hello fellow Pocketeers ,I have been listening to BiggerPockets for a few months now, and I think that I have burned through every episode - some twice or three times, depending on the subject matter.

I wouldn't be surprised if it burned down or got shot up.

The inspector couldn't determine the age of the two gas furnaces.My question as a buyer is knowing that these appliances are in theory going to "burn out" within a few years (maybe months), how should I approach the situation? 

Fixed it, lived in it then rented for 5 years before it burned down just recently.

But, you'll never get the burned smell out unless you remove anything the smoke touched.

Do you mean the yard is overgrown with weeds or is half the property burned and the remaining half contaminated from a meth lab?

I messed around with flipping homes back in NY but got burned in 2008 and kind of lost it all.

Finally, it is noble that you want to help this lady but that's a great way to get burned.

Burning one parties car was the way one of the parties involved decided to handle the situation.Best part about the car fire was one of the parties forgot which car was owned by the tenant.
