@Bruce Lynn as an appraiser, it is my humble opinion that 80% of all courses have very little to do with day-to-day tasks of an appraiser (you know, like nearly all professions requiring Continuing Education credits). 

Since the location is near Disney World we tend to have children in the home on most bookings.I know there are options out there such as adding a carpet strip, anti-slip adhesive treads, and anti-slip floor finish.

Why would I decide to share the profit (equity split) when I can simply hire someone to do these tasks? 

My parents tasked me with finding out what they could do.
