just because you can Cost Segregation at an accelerated rate on taxes doesnt mean the actual useable lifespan is the same as Uncle Sam Allows you to depreciate it for.

@nic stergion   @Arlen Chou@Sam Josh    @jitin chopraLooks like some people are still not telling the entire story.....yes Oakland is making it more difficult regarding background checks....however....If you are house hacking an SFR, Duplex, Triplex, Fourplex then you can still absolutely ask about their criminal background and act accordingly......Also.....If the tenant is a Section 8 tenant you are also allowed to ask about criminal background and act accordingly.
